Theatre is a method of telling these stories. playsthatwork's plays that work first tell the stories and then employ processes that harvest the lessons that emerge – and then put them to work. Often, the most powerful lessons are those unique awarenesses that each learner takes away. Regardless of whether the lessons are unique or universal, at playsthatwork, we believe that lessons learned in these captivating ways help people do business better!
playsthatwork is the brainchild of Peter Gardiner-Harding, founder and executive director. Peter started his career as a Chartered Accountant but was drawn back to his life's passion of acting. He soon realized there are obvious crossovers between these two seemingly different areas of his life and set out to create playsthatwork as a way of bringing them together.
Created in 1989, playsthatwork now has a talented group of actors and has firmly established itself across a variety of differing sectors, including financial services, healthcare, professional consulting firms, manufacturing and education. Participants include people from all levels of the organizations, including board members.
